Our youth partly defines us. The memory of the 'first' stays with us. The first love, the first kiss, the first of anything. The first time we experience the pure bliss of music. Therefore we go back to the music which defined our youth.

The emo era is omnipresent with Green Day's Boulevard of Broken Dreams and Evanescence's Bring Me To Life mixed in with the otherwise energetic and happy sound of the likes of Black Eyed Peas, the Killers and the launch of Gwen Stefani's solo career following the success of No Doubt.

The music we hear during our years of firsts stays with us. The music playing during our first kiss, our first love, our first heartbreak is tied to our soul.
