Once there becomes here
Once there becomes here is a group exhibition by third-year product design students, presenting the results of the course Fókus, in which students worked on a shared subject under the guidance of Rúna Thors. Together, the students chose camping as their theme and from there developed four distinct projects connected by a common thread.
Camping is a deep-rooted part of Icelandic culture. It has changed and evolved over the years, but its importance remains the same. The camping experience holds multitudes; it can be whatever you want it to be. In this exhibition, four groups set out on a journey to explore, map and shed new light on the idea of camping.
The exhibition opens on 30 October from 6–9 PM at Gallery RÝMD, Völvufell 17, 111 Reykjavík.
The exhibition will also be open on 31 October from 1–5 PM.
