The Gadflys

Brothers Mick and Phil Moriarty founded The Gadflys in 1982 and over 30 plus years, various incarnations of the band have released five critically acclaimed albums, served 3 years as musical anchors on ABC TV’s Good News Week with Paul McDermott and gathered a devoted following of fans in Australia and on the summer festival circuit in Europe and the UK.

Fellow musicians Andy Lewis, Stevie Plunder, Jonathon Nix, Elmo Reid, Pete Velzen and Kathryn Brownhill have joined Mick and Phil at different times to create and perform their inimitable brand of mongrel jazz.
