Award-winning Australian blues and soul artist Shaun Kirk brings his acclaimed one-man show to Totara Street, Mount Maunganui on Thursday 22 October as part of his 2026 New Zealand tour – an intimate, seated night of live blues in the Bay of Plenty.

Hailing from the music-filled streets of Melbourne, Shaun Kirk is a blues and soul troubadour and a born entertainer. His talent has earned him numerous industry accolades and high praise from fellow artists, including three-time Grammy Award winner Fantastic Negrito, who called his set “one of the best one-man shows he’s ever seen.”

Kirk’s gritty, soulful vocals carry a depth well beyond his years, with Buzz Mag hailing him as “one of the finest blues voices Australia has ever heard.” Paired with vintage guitar tones and raw, rootsy grooves, his sound pays tribute to the blues and soul greats while being distinctly his own.

Shaun has taken his live show to stages around the world, regularly selling out rooms and winning over crowds with his magnetic presence. He’s a familiar name at Bluesfest Byron Bay and has shared bills with Robert Plant, John Mayer, Paolo Nutini, John Butler Trio and The Teskey Brothers. He has also opened for blues guitar maestro Joe Bonamassa, soul singer Allen Stone and Beth Hart.
