Laura Hill is an award-winning South Australian singer-songwriter whose music draws from folk, soul, blues and indie pop, wrapped around beautifully crafted songs and a voice that can be both delicate and quietly powerful.

Based on the Fleurieu Peninsula, Laura has spent more than 15 years performing across Australia, developing a distinctive sound shaped by the landscape and character of her home region. Her songwriting is intimate, thoughtful and often laced with humour, exploring love, loss, connection, travel and the everyday moments that make up a life.

Laura's catalogue includes four studio recordings, beginning with Powdered Sunshine in 2014 and followed by Blue Skies, Guava Tree and Secrets. Secrets earned her the 2018 South Australian Music Awards People's Choice Folk Award as well as the ABRA Blues & Roots Album of the Year, and marked a deeper and more emotionally raw direction in her songwriting.

Her music has taken her around Australia and onto stages alongside artists including Passenger, Matt Corby, Daryl Braithwaite, Colin Hay, Ash Grunwald, Kim Churchill and Tijuana Cartel. She also fronts and writes for the dreamy indie-pop band Lilac Cove.

More recently, Laura has continued to evolve her sound, releasing the soulful folk-pop single Space for You in 2025 and Boulevard in 2026. Her music remains grounded in storytelling, with a warmth and honesty that carries just as strongly in an intimate solo performance as it does with a full band.

A natural storyteller with a captivating voice and an unmistakable sense of place, Laura Hill has become one of the Fleurieu's most distinctive musical voices.
