The lecture series Samhengi welcomes guitarist and composer Páll Ragnar Pálsson and singer and musicologist Tui Hirv on Friday, November 13th, with the lecture The Story Behind the Songs. They will talk about Layers, their album of sacred folk songs from Estonia, the Nordic countries and Britain, and shed light on the research behind it: how they approached the material and made it their own.
The event takes place in Skriða, Stakkahlíð 1 and is open to all.
