Halloween fun for kids at Reykjavik park and zoo

Reykjavík Park and Zoo will be getting into the Halloween spirit on the first day of winter! A fun and exciting programme for everyone brave enough to join us. Particularly suitable for children aged 6–12, but also for brave younger children.
Ghost and Monster Walk – Pilkington Props, Hringleikur & Dagrún Ósk
Folklorist Dr. Dagrún Ósk Jónsdóttir will lead visitors around the park, sharing stories of monsters and ghosts from Icelandic folklore. Characters from the stories will come to life before your eyes – you never know what might be waiting around the next corner.
The walk starts at the park entrance at 16:30 and 17:30.
The Maze
A ghost story in an outdoor maze. A theatre group made up of young people aged 15–18 from the local area will take visitors on an adventurous journey.
Groups enter every 10 minutes between 16:30 and 18:30.
The maze is located in the grove above the carousel.
ÞYKJÓ Mask-Making Workshop
A creative Halloween mask-making workshop led by the design team Þykjó. Located in the restaurant.

A special Halloween programme will also take place at the park on Saturday, 31 October.
