Join us on one of Green Edventures’ most beloved adventures as we explore the wild beauty of Costa Rica’s Osa Peninsula. Designed for active travelers who love nature, and led by our expert local guide, this tour is both informative, unique, and wildlife-focused. Each day you will trek rainforest trails and check dozens of animals off of your must see bucket list.
The journey begins in San José before heading to the Osa, where rainforest meets ocean in one of the most biodiverse places on Earth. Participants will explore wild beaches, swim in cool tidal rivers, and hike rainforest trails in search of wildlife such as four species of monkeys and sloths, and learn the story of the forest—how plants and animals have evolved together in a delicate web of adaptation and survival.
Along the way, we stay in eco lodges tucked in nature surrounded by jungle sounds and ocean breezes. Meet locals who share traditional skills, from making coconut oil to processing and chocolate from seeds, snorkel in the Golfo Dulce while watching for dolphins from the boat.
